Who is Kypris Asharte?

Kypris Asharte is my chosen name inspired by just some of the ancient titles of the goddess Aphrodite—not that I consider myself a goddess!

Kypris was the name sometimes given to Aphrodite, who it is said, was from the Greek island of Cyprus and therefore Cyprian i.e. Kypris.

Asharte, comes from the associated name of a Near Eastern goddess associated with love, fertility, and strangely.... war. Asharte was considered to be an earlier incarnation of the Greek goddess Aphrodite who embodied the same qualities of love, beauty, and desire.

Kypris Asharte, I guess, is who I aspire to become representing a new more vibrant phase in my transgender journey moving from a period of my life in which I wanted to explore and promote crossdressing to an enjoyment and acceptance of who I am embodied by spirituality and love.

I am who I am! It is what it is!
