Who is Kypris Asharte?

Kypris Asharte is an adopted name inspired by the ancient titles for the goddess Aphrodite—not that I consider myself a goddess!

Kypris is sometimes given to Aphrodite, who it is said, was from the Greek island of Cyprus and therefore Cyprian.

Asharte, reprsents a Near Eastern goddess associated with love, fertility, and war, is considered a precursor to the Greek goddess Aphrodite, who also embodies love, beauty, and desire.

Kypris Asharte, I guess, is who I aspire to become.

I chose these name to represent a new more vibrant, phase in my transgender journey moving from a period of my life in which I wanted to explore and promote crossdressing to a period of enjoyment and acceptance embodied by spirituality and love.

I am who I am!
